Sample Local Service Website Audit

An example of how Strandline Digital turns a public website review into a practical redesign direction, quote-path plan, and measurement scope.

Important context

This is a redacted sample based on audit and design-direction work for a local service website. The project was not implemented by Strandline Digital, and no performance results are claimed.

What was reviewed

The audit looked at public website pages, sitemap and robots files, visible quote paths, technical SEO basics, trust signals, tracking readiness, and the page structure needed for local search and AI-search visibility.

The business category was a Myrtle Beach local service company where calls, text/photo quote requests, forms, booked jobs, and completed jobs matter more than generic website traffic.

Core finding

The main opportunity was not just a prettier website. The larger opportunity was to make the path from visitor to quote to booked job clearer, faster, and measurable.

  • P0Fix page identity and technical SEO. Several money pages needed clearer H1s, absolute canonicals, cleaner sitemap handling, and local structured data.
  • P0Make the fast quote path obvious. The customer journey needed a stronger call/text/photo quote path above the fold and near key service explanations.
  • P1Turn pricing into a trust page. Pricing content needed to explain minimums, volume, item type, access, weight, and what affects the quote.
  • P1Add answer blocks for search and AI visibility. Money pages needed short, self-contained answers to real buyer questions.
  • P1Measure booked jobs, not just leads. The reporting plan needed calls, forms, text/photo quote requests, contacted rate, quote-to-booked rate, completed jobs, and source quality.

What this example does not claim

This sample does not claim that the business hired Strandline Digital for implementation, launched the proposed redesign, improved rankings, increased leads, or generated booked-job growth from our work.

It is included to show the thinking, structure, and level of practical detail that a local lead funnel audit can produce before a business commits to build, ads, or ongoing management.
